tuis.ai, as it runs today (say “tayss”; Afrikaans for home).
HOW IT LISTENS
Your taste, learned by talking.
Warm or cool, matte or shine, pattern or quiet: learned in conversation and corrected every time you disagree. Never a style quiz, never a mood board you didn’t make.
AT THE DESK
Decisions, in the right order.
The renovation becomes a decision list with its dependencies named: the vanity waits on the tile, the paint waits on both. “Decide this first” is something Tuis actually says, and why.
IN THE STORE
“Will this fit?” Answered where you stand.
Point the phone at the tile in aisle nine: Tuis answers with your alcove’s real centimetres and your own taste. When the last decision lands, the room is finished, and Tuis closes it.
WHAT TUIS WILL NEVER DO
Your taste stays yours
Learned to help you decide, never sold, and never used to sell to you.
No style quiz
Taste is learned by talking and corrected by disagreeing, not configured on day one.
A finished room is finished
When the last decision lands, Tuis closes the room. Nothing nags you back into it.
The phone knows its place
Plans are made at the desk; the phone lives in the room and the store.
Free until your third decision.
The first two decisions in a room are free; at the third, $28 once for that room. The rest of the room is included, however long it takes. Nothing renews.
